Delete your Date Drop account

How to request deletion

1. Sign in to Date Drop in the app or on the Date Drop website. You do not need to reinstall the app.
2. Open Settings and select Delete account.
3. Confirm your request.

Matching and notifications stop right away. Your account is scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Before that deadline, you can sign in and choose to restore it.

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the email address you used for Date Drop to request help with account deletion. Do not send your password or sign-in code.

What happens to your data

After the 30-day period, we remove your account data from Supabase, including your profile, questionnaire answers, messages you sent, profile photos and uploaded resumes.

Some technical logs may remain temporarily for security. Safety reports, message evidence and related correspondence may remain while needed for safety review, enforcement, disputes or legal obligations.

To request removal of PostHog usage data, or request deletion of particular data while keeping your account, email [email protected]. You can also ask us to review retained safety records.
